Staging Services

  • A staging consultation is a personalized walk-through of your home where we identify simple, impactful changes that will help your property present at its best. During the consultation, we discuss layout, styling, lighting, and ways to highlight the home’s strongest features. You’ll receive guidance on furniture placement, decluttering, and finishing touches that can make a meaningful difference in how buyers experience the space.

    Consultation Fee: $200 (applied toward staging services if booked within 30 days)

  • Basic staging focuses on enhancing your home using thoughtful styling and carefully selected décor. By working with existing furnishings when possible and layering in complementary pieces, we create a balanced and inviting atmosphere that helps buyers connect emotionally with the home. Even small adjustments in layout, texture, and styling can transform how a room feels and improve how the property presents both in person and in listing photos.

  • Full staging is ideal for vacant homes or spaces that need a complete design approach. Furniture, décor, and styling elements are carefully curated to create a cohesive, welcoming environment that showcases the home’s layout and potential. Each space is designed to feel warm, functional, and memorable, helping buyers envision how they would live in the home while allowing the property’s architecture and natural light to shine.

Root Element grew from over a decade of thoughtfully staging homes and creating meaningful gifts for clients. As a real estate agent, I saw how intentional design and warm, welcoming spaces help people connect with a home. What began as a way to bring comfort and character into real estate listings has evolved into a design and home goods studio focused on grounded living.

Today, Root Element blends home staging, curated vintage finds, botanical home goods, and thoughtful gifts designed to bring warmth and beauty into everyday spaces. By mixing vintage pieces with modern elements and natural textures, we create spaces that feel layered, inviting, and authentic.

Root Element was founded by Wendy Vaday, a licensed real estate agent serving Oregon and Washington. Wendy is Also a Certified Staging Design Agent and a member of the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA).
